Prof. A.k. Banerji Oration

Prof. A. K. banerji received medical education in Medical College, Lucknow. Thereafter he received neurosurgical training in CMC Vellore. He joined as faculty in AIIMS in June 1965. He took the department of neurosurgery to great heights along with Prof P N Tandon. He retired as professor and head of the department of neurosurgery, AIIMS in 1995.
1^st  Dr. A.K. Banerji Oration was held on Friday the 4^th March, 2016 at 9.30 AM in Conference Hall, AIIMS. Professor B.K. Misra, Head of the Department of Neurosurgery & Gamma Knife Radiosurgery, P D Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai delivered the Oration on the topic ‘’optimally invasive skull base surgery’’.
2^nd  Dr. A.K. Banerji Oration was held on Saturday the 17^th Feb, 2018 at 9.30 AM in the Conference Hall, AIIMS, New Delhi and Prof A.K. Singhwas the orator.
